Long-Form Unscripted Editing
Steel Ant specializes in crafting coherent narratives out of hours of raw footage that may not have been shot with any sort of plan. We stand out from the pack of brute force, direction-based editors who require a roadmap to make a video. We don’t need any instructions. Just hand over the footage and trust us to sculpt a compelling narrative that hits the mark on v1 — replete tasteful and appropriate b-roll, music, SFX, and GFX.
Podcasts
The podcast can be a deceptive genre. With so many platforms now offering video versions, it’s important to have that aspect nailed down while keeping the radio edit clear and concise. We prune the conversation as-needed, then sweeten the audio and embellish the visuals to deliver the maximum experience. Cold opens and hooks are essential and our years of experience have enabled us to know what is most likely to bring the highest viewer retention.
On-location Shooting + Post
Our production arsenal is tight but powerful. We are equipped to do shoots in 4k or 6k using “Netflix approved” cameras. Lights, lavs, booms, and a small G&E kit included. Whether it’s a studio style shoot or a BTS follow doc, we’ve got you covered and having us do production carries considerable benefits as we take care of your post, since we’re already familiar with the footage.
